Account Executive

 

Position Description:

NetOps has an immediate opening for an account executive who is outgoing and loves a challenge. The position will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing accounts. This is a full-time position.

 

The responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:

  • Utilize your "hunter" sales mentality to build upon our track record of success by identifying, developing and winning customer accounts.
  • Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities within your geographic area.
  • Leverage existing relationships to create new opportunities for increased sales and referrals.
  • Utilize your technical aptitude and strong business acumen to assess client needs, perform client presentations, demonstrate value, and customize a solution that accomplishes the client’s objectives and company goals for growth and profitability.
  • Participate as a productive team member.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years technical sales experience
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
  • New business sales skills with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Advanced/Formal sales training a plus
  • Executive-level sales experience
  • Business solutions sales experience

Administrative Assistant

 

Position Description:

NetOps has an immediate opening for an administrative assistant with an eye for detail and a strong work ethic. The position will be responsible for a variety of administrative, marketing and human resources duties. This is a full-time position.

 

The responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phones
  • Work with vendors to create marketing campaigns
  • Provide vendor support regarding purchasing and sales
  • Create sales quotes for customers
  • Dispatching technicians and following up with customers to ensure completion
  • Filing, data entry, typing memos and other general office duties
  • Run errands as needed for supplies and kitchen stock
  • Oversee entire office space and insure that it is maintained in an orderly manner

 

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma, at least two years of secondary education preferred
  • Must be able to work a consistent schedule during normal business hours (M-F, 8-5)
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel
  • Must be able to learn and navigate through industry specific software programs
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for interactions with customers
  • Must have reliable transportation available during working hours
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Support Technician

 

Position Description:

The Support Technician is responsible for handling first level support of all service requests.  This relates to all technology, to include: workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.

 

The responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:

  • IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems.
  • Support of disaster recovery solutions.
  • Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and security.
  • Basic remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services and Citrix.
  • Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets.
  • System documentation maintenance and review.
  • Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
  • Improve customer service, perception and satisfaction.
  • Fast turnaround of customer requests.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Work with the Service Manager to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource in order to be resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Escalate service requests that require engineer level support.
  • Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise, our Professional Services Automation tool, as it occurs.
  • Understand processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the ConnectWise University.
  • Enter all work as service tickets in to ConnectWise.
  • Weekly time sheets are to be turned in no later than Monday for the previous work week.  All time sheet must have at least 8 hours accounted for each day.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience providing telephone and remote technical support troubleshooting hardware and software including: PC's, laptops, servers, printers and LAN/WAN.
  • Experience with the Microsoft family of software solutions including Windows XP, Vista and Server OS's as well as the Office Suite line of applications.
  • At least 6 months of experience handling concurrent or multiple tasks efficiently.
  • MCP or equivalent certification; if no certification at the time of hire, the certification must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems and network systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
  • Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided.
  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in the fast moving environment.
  • Employee is expected to work his or her 9 hour shift (with 1 hour lunch) and will be on-call after hours on a monthly rotation basis.
  • Some light lifting of PC and Server equipment.
  • Proficient with Google Search and other methods of quick web search.

 

Additional Beneficial Skills - Not Required:

  • 6 months experience with managed service application, including but not limited to Kaseya, Zenith, LabTech and ConnectWise.
  • Experience troubleshooting Mac OS X and higher.

Systems Engineer

Position Description:

The Systems Engineer is responsible for handling higher level support of all service requests.  This relates to all technology, including workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.

The responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver 1st-class IT support involving Microsoft's core business applications, virtual environments, and VOIP solutions.
  • Implement and support Microsoft-related technologies, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, and SharePoint.
  • Implement and support network technologies, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Implement and support remote access solutions, including VPN and Terminal Services.
  • Implement and support disaster recovery solutions.
  • Manage the remote monitoring and management system to create new alerts and automation scripts.
  • Help design and implement complex IT projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of incident progress and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
  • Participate in rotating on-call shift as required.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise, our Professional Services Automation tool, as it occurs.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience providing IT support in a LAN/WAN environment.
  • Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCITP or MCSE, SonicWall CSSA, Citrix CCEA or CCIA, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP.
  • College degree with information technology major preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided.
  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in the fast moving environment.
  • Must be able to work normal business hours (M-F, 8-5) with occasional after-hours work and a rotating after-hours on-call shift.
  • Some light lifting of PC and Server equipment.
  • Must have reliable transportation available during working hours.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
